e*thirteen TRS Race SL Carbon MTB-Rim 29 Inches Online

e*thirteen has taken the TSRr profile and reduced the sidewall thickness from 3mm to 2.5mm. This, along with an improved carbon layup, gives SL riders far better distribution of force on impact. A 27mm internal width provides the best profile for trail bike tires up to 2.4″ wide. Like all e*thirteen carbon rims, the SL is hookless and compatible with classic j-bend spokes with alloy nipples and washers.

The engineers of E13 knew making a carbon rim that would meet the demands of the EWS Circuit and United Ride Team would be a tall order, so they took it upon themselves to smash every rim they could get their hands on and see what they could learn.

Two years of testing, and an expensive pile of scrap later, e*thirteen is proud to unveil a carbon rim that is more durable than aluminium, impressively lightweight and offers precise steering response.
